TimeEase - Time Tracker, Timesheet & Worklog Viewer for Jira

I’ve been using TimeEase as part of my team’s day-to-day Jira workflow, and it has made time tracking and worklog management much more convenient. I particularly like how easy it is to get an overview of worklogs across projects without having to dig through individual Jira issues. The timesheet and reporting views are useful for keeping track of team activity, while the built-in stopwatch makes logging time straightforward. What I also appreciate is that it feels like a natural part of Jira rather than a separate tool you have to manage alongside it. Overall, a simple and practical solution that I’ve found genuinely useful in my daily work.

It is a good plugin that stands out for its simplicity and ease of use. I got started right away without any setup or onboarding. It also fits seamlessly into the native Jira UI, and the dark mode is a nice touch for daily use. Overall, among other variants for time tracking we've selected this one for simplicity.

The app is simple and easy to use. The developer seems to be maintaining it by releasing new features like the timesheet that is currently in beta. I do, however, wish it had support for the mobile version of Jira; this would allow technicians to start, pause, and stop the stopwatch when they are in the field away from their computer.

  We really appreciate you sharing your use case — that’s important feedback for us. Regarding the stopwatch, it’s actually available on the mobile browser version of Jira (though not in the Jira mobile app, due to Atlassian’s limitations).

  To use it on mobile:

  1. Open Jira in your mobile browser.

  2. Navigate to the issue.

  3. Scroll to the bottom, open the Activity dropdown, and select Stopwatch.

  4. You can then start, pause, and stop it as needed.
