Mermaid Plus Diagrams for Jira now runs the Mermaid 12.2 engine, bringing new mindmap styling, steadier swimlane layouts and clearer error messages to every diagram in your issues.
New: mindmaps can color nodes by hierarchy depth instead of by branch, so each level reads consistently across large maps. Packet diagrams gain a bit order option to match hardware documentation conventions.
Swimlane diagrams are more reliable: two swimlane diagrams on one page no longer conflict, steps without connections keep the order you declared, and lane title bands stay clear of crossing arrows.
Flowchart circles and double circles now size to fit their labels, and ELK layouts keep edge labels off neighboring lines.
Syntax errors now show the actual cause beneath the error headline, so a broken diagram tells you what to fix.
Ideal for teams documenting processes, architectures and decision trees directly in Jira.
