v3.6.0 turns Mermaid Plus into an MCP server. The same diagram tools that power the built-in Rovo agent are now available to your own Rovo Studio agents and to third-party AI clients (Claude Code, Cursor, anything MCP-compatible).
Create, read and update diagrams, and convert Mermaid code blocks — on pages and blogposts, for every Mermaid v12 diagram type. Pages holding several diagrams are handled explicitly: get-diagram lists them with 1-based indexes and update-diagram asks which one to change, so AI never edits the wrong diagram. Every write runs with the invoking user's own Confluence permissions, is version-locked, and targets the published version. External MCP access is off by default; a site admin can enable it per site under Atlassian Administration, Apps, Connected apps.
No permission changes — installed sites receive v3.6.0 automatically.
