Users won’t even notice the difference

Upgrade with no change to the user experience. For example, A user who added a Jira gadget in Confluence 7.19 will still see the gadget displayed in Confluence 9.2 after External gadgets for Confluence is installed.

Let your Confluence users seamlessly interact with Jira gadgets, whether they’ve already added gadgets to an existing Confluence page, or if they wish to add more.

The original in-built gadgets feature in Confluence was removed in Confluence 9.0, after support ended in Confluence 7.0. With users still keen to see gadgets on Confluence pages, this app brings the missing gadgets functionality back to Confluence.

NoteThe app supports Jira gadgets only. Other gadgets from third-party products may work with this app, but these are not supported.

To install and use the app:

To use Jira gadgets, your Jira instance must be 10.3.1 or higher version. Alternatively we have backported the fix to 9.12 LTS stream starting with 9.12.17. This means that versions 9.13.x to 10.2.x are not supported.
You must be a system admin.
