IUM facilitates concurrent licensing, allowing users to access Jira based on simultaneous usage rather than individual licenses. This model enhances efficiency and reduce costs by matching license allocation to actual usage patterns.
On average, a Jira user interacts with the software for 20% of their workday. With a concurrent model you only need enough licenses for the maximum number of users online at any one time, not for every user registered in the system.
IUM dynamically allocates and reclaims software licenses to ensure optimal usage. We use local groups to manage users with or without a software license
- Group A (Active Users): Users in this group have an active software license allocated
- Group B (Idle Users): These users do not have a license allocated at the moment, and are placed in this group to manage license availability.
The version of IUM offers a free trial for up to 5 users. To expand beyond this, please submit a request via our service desk for license activation.
