User-friendly group renaming. It works on the fly as it should.
No server restarting or running queries on the database is needed anymore!
Rename button available on group pages:
Confluence Administration > User Management > Groups > "Rename" button
REST API allows automating the renaming process or even performing bulk renaming.
At the moment it renames groups in the core of Jira:
- Global Permissions
- Space Permissions
- Page Permissions
