Speech to Text for Confluence

Speech to Text for Confluence adds a macro you insert into any page with "/speech". Choose your language from a full list of locales — English (US, UK, Australia, and more), Spanish, and many others — click record, and speak. Your words are transcribed using the browser's built-in speech recognition and can be inserted as page content or posted as a comment, whichever you choose after recording stops.

Each macro instance has a scope setting: private, so only the page creator can record and add content, or public, so anyone viewing the page can dictate a comment. That makes it useful both for solo drafting (dictate your own notes into a page) and for open feedback (let reviewers speak their comments instead of typing).

No separate transcription service or account is required — recognition happens through the browser you're already using. Built on Atlassian Forge for Confluence Cloud.
