Quick Draft for Later Refinement
Use shortcut X to open the Create Draft dialog. Capture your idea and create a Private Draft only with Summary (Description is optional). Then refine the information later.
Auto Saving for Editing Draft
Once you make any change to the draft, it will automatically save the draft for you. Epic, Sub-tasks, Attachments and Custom Fields are well supported.
Easy Navigation, Clone, and Restore Functions
Draft tree to organize parent-child relationship. Field navigation to quickly navigate you to the selected field. Drafts can be cloned, deleted and restored.

Notice of App Retirement
Easy Draft for Jira will be retired on 31 December 2026. We are focusing our effort on other products and will not migrate Easy Draft to Forge.
The app will keep working until that date. After 31 December 2026 we will shut down the backend service. Installed copies of the app will stop working, and any drafts that have not been converted will no longer be available.
If you still have drafts you want to keep, please convert them to Jira issues before 31 December 2026. Thank you for using Easy Draft.
