Testcase generator for Jira stories using ai
Usage guide
1. Create an OpenAI API key before using the app.
2. After installing the app, go to Project Settings -> Apps -> TestGenR config.
3. The test cases are generated when the story is transitioned to a trigger status. Choose the trigger status (eg: Ready for Test. This ensures test cases are generated for stories before testing)
4. Enter your OpenAI key in the 'your key' section and click on submit.
5. Go back to your sprint board and change the status of your story ticket to the trigger status.
6. Click Test(GenR)cases tab in the story. The panel opens with test cases.
4. The test cases are generated only for stories and will not regenerate test cases if they already exist.
5. The test cases can be edited, can be marked as verified, deleted, or even added a new test case.
6. The test cases can be directly downloaded as a CSV file for further integrations with other suits.
