Simplify Issue Creation: Automatic set values, hide those you don't need, and set others as read-only, all during issue creation

An admin section (Addons) makes it possible to create "Automatics". An Automatic is a set of actions that are performed in the Create Issue window, on fields.An action is e.g. setting a field value, hiding a field, or setting a field readonly. The action is triggered by the load of the Create Issue window, or some change in another field.Right now Summary and Priority are supported for the actions, but more are coming.

Integration Details

Create Issue Automatics integrates with your Atlassian product. This remote service can:

  • Take Jira administration actions (e.g. create projects and custom fields, view workflows, manage issue link types).
  • View user information in Jira that the user has access to, including usernames, email addresses, and avatars.
  • Read Jira project and issue data, search for issues, and objects associated with issues like attachments and worklogs.
  • Create and edit issues in Jira, post comments as the user, create worklogs, and delete issues.
