Capture updates about a Jira issue

Trying to capture executive summary updates in comments or fields is not a great experience. Typically, the only option is to capture the latest and use a second field to capture the date. Then, users must rely on history to know the last update.

This app simplifies the experience by creating a list of historical updates for an issue.

A good example of a use-case is as follows. After creating a hierarchy within Jira where Initiative is at the top, the PMO requires Project Managers to give regular updates. Using this app, the PM can create an update and notify others about the update. The PMO can search for the update and make sure that other PMs have updated their project status (by using the JQL feature "progressUpdatesCount" and "progressUpdatesMaxDate").

PMs can put images and links in their updates so that stakeholders can find all the right information when needed.
