OnRamp - Employee Onboarding and Offboarding

Automates creation of Jira tickets for onboarding and offboarding. We can now capture hires and exits at a specific point in workday and continue to keep fields in sync with Jira until their start or end date. Greatly improve synergy between HR and IT. Prabhu and Girish were very responsive and helpful in getting us setup.

I accidentally stopped by the Onward booth at the Atlassian Team '24 event and was impressed by the features of the OnRamp and OnLink apps. One major requirement for us is auto-creating subtasks based on application selections and assigning them to the application lead for onboarding. OnRamp’s playbook simplified our complex automation with a single setup. Another key use case is auto-generating periodic subtasks(50+) and assigning them to the right assignee. Previously, our teams managed periodic tasks with Excel sheets, which was difficult. OnRamp's auto subtask creation has streamlined this process, saving significant time and effort. The customer support from the OnWard team is an invaluable asset, complementing their excellent product features. They engage directly with clients, guiding them through the configuration of required features.

We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Onward to replace our current (and expensive) user onboarding process. Prabhu and Girish have been wonderful to work with; they are incredibly responsive while exchanging feedback and questions with aplomb. Our particular use case involved quite a bit of work within Jira to get us ready. Adding OnRamp to the mix took a large weight off of our project and simplified the process tremendously. During a call with a consultant, our team was praised on the quality and speed at which we stood up a demonstration of multiple projects and workflows for new user onboarding. There is no doubt that OnRamp has saved us time and money. Our production environment will have over 15 JSM projects (and internal departments) involved in the onboarding process. Future phases will include hardware requests and user changes and terminations and potential usage of OnLink. We have definitely made the right choice in bringing Onward in to our project.

We have been involved with Onward to build a HRSM solution focusing on Onboarding and Offboarding. It is a real cool feature that it easily syncs up with different HR applications, AD and recruitment software. They have a lovely support system and they respond promptly every time you have a question. They are working to expand the list of tools that the systems connect with and has a good potential. Great work team!!
