Key highlights of the appImport documents, embed live Quip content, and search across both platforms – up to 10x faster than copying and pasting by hand

Document Import
Bring Quip documents into Confluence as native pages. Formatting, attachments, and images come across intact – the things that break when you copy and paste manually
Live Embed
Not ready to migrate everything at once? Embed live Quip content directly into a Confluence page with a macro, so teams on Confluence can see up-to-date Quip content without switching tools.
In-Confluence Search & Import
Search Quip content from inside Confluence and import what you find, without switching tabs or hunting through Quip's own interface first.
More details
Why migrate from Quip to Confluence?
- Quip shuts down permanently on 31 March 2027 – no new renewals accepted after 1 March 2027
- Manual copy-paste breaks formatting, attachments, and images
- Confluence is where your technical teams already work
When does Quip shut down? (Quip end-of-life and retirement date)
Salesforce confirmed Quip's retirement: no new Quip renewals are accepted after 1 March 2027, and every Quip site – including free accounts – will start closing from 31 March 2027. Once your site closes, your Quip content becomes inaccessible, so any migration needs to be finished before then, not started on the day.
Does it work with Confluence Data Center as well as Cloud? (Confluence Cloud and Data Center support)
Yes. Quip Integration for Confluence supports both Confluence Cloud and Confluence Data Center, so the migration path works whichever hosting option your organisation runs.
