Project Picker enhances the Jira Service Management (JSM) experience by allowing users to add a Project Picker to their JSM portal request. So, it is no longer necessary to create and maintain a portal for each project for standardized support requests. Instead, this feature makes it easy for users to select the project they need support for and allows agents to quickly identify and prioritize requests.
In addition, the app offers a feature to automatically add the project lead as a Request Participant to new request. This ensures that the right people are notified of new issues or updates and helps to streamline request management.
This app also supports external systems such as Jira Data Center (on-prem) and allows admins to easily add them by name. This feature is particularly useful for organizations that use multiple Jira instances or need to integrate with other systems, having just a single entry point for their ITSM.
