Version 2.2.0•for Jira Cloud
- Release date
- Oct 30th 2026
- Summary
- Advanced Queues Lite on Forge: the free app's successor, data carried over
- Details
Advanced Queues (Free) becomes Advanced Queues Lite, rebuilt on Atlassian Forge. Updating replaces the Connect app in place; nothing you stored is moved or changed.
- Your queues, folders, open queue, column layouts and page sizes carry over exactly as they were.
- The first time each person opens the app after the update, Jira asks them to allow it to act on their behalf. One click, once per person.
- Lite is licensed per user. A site without an active licence sees a notice instead of the app until a licence is active.
- Lite allows five custom project queues per project and three personal queues per user per project. Existing queues above those numbers keep working; the limit applies when adding a queue.
- Importing queues from Jira Service Management is now part of Advanced Queues Pro.
- The queue editor validates JQL with Jira as you type and shows how many issues match. Queue badges show live counts. Dates follow the project's date format. Keys and statuses stay on one line.
