Released - Feedback Portal, Public Roadmap, AI Release Notes

Historically, writing release notes has been one of the most time consuming and least favorite tasks I handle. I put a lot of effort into manually slogging through the process and it didn't seem like our employees or customers paid attention. Initially I was just trying to find a tool that would use AI to automate the release note draft process. When I discovered Released, it totally changed how I think about customer feedback, roadmaps, and release notes. I love the seamless integration with Jira, ability to authenticate and control access based on email address, page embed and widget codes, roadmaps, tags, changelogs templates, release notes drafted by AI, ability to subscribe to changelogs, product feedback, and simplicity of the app. Our Customer Success, Sales, and end customers love the improved communication of our feature releases. This is a great app that makes our release notes and roadmap an effective marketing tool. The Released team is very supportive, communicative, and friendly. There are a few "nice to have" features that I've shared, which are already on their roadmap. This is one of my favorite product tools. I'm still discovering all of the features and also considering where we can deprecate some of our existing tools in favor of Released.

​We’ve evaluated several tools, including Canny, Featurebase, and ProductPlan, and we’ve decided to move forward with Released. The main reasons were its ease of use, the ability to push rich changelogs (including videos), AI-generated release notes, and how seamlessly it reuses existing Jira tickets for the roadmap.

Using Released has saved us a lot of time and effort when it comes to creating release notes for our own products. The AI powered changelog generation is genius! It can take technical details from our Jira issues and turn it into something more end-user friendly. Support for the app is great too - Jens and co. were very happy to assist me with any issues I had.
