Magic Estimations Lite: Free Async and Planning Poker sizing

An effective app for facilitating story (or other issue type) estimates with a team. It's particularly useful that you can "pin" issues with an agreed-upon estimate to a points column, so that issue can serve as a reference for subsequent estimations. That helps keep the team focused on relative size and relative complexity rather than trying to translate points to time in their heads. I also like that you can select which field it uses to retrieve/store points in. For example, we keep our Epic points in a different field than the estimates for Stories and other issue types, and we can have an estimation board for Epics that understands that.

  Indeed, the ability to pin issues for references was one of the core features for the MVP long time ago. I'm really glad it worked well for you and your team!

We are a small team of 4 engineers, the Lite edition was good enough in terms of limitations. Since we started to use Magic Estimations Lite our productivity in planning grew significantly, we managed to cut the planning time in half, while significantly increasing the user engagement. The fact that everyone estimates and needs to understand the value of a story point and the complexity of the task, it increases the engagement. The UX is easy and convenient, everybody are thrilled and enjoy the usage and we are considering onboarding more teams in the organization.

The limitations of the lite version are way too restrictive to be useful (especially the 5 people only per session), it's a joke. We were super happy with the regular version, but it's way too expensive with the new model, especially as we are 1 team using it among at 150+ jira seats account. That's basically forcing us to find another app. Terrible experience.

  We have not been answering this review because we replied to your similar 1-star review under the full version of the Magic Estimations app (btw, it has pretty good reviews).

  But almost 6 months later, this is the only review this app has. I find it pretty misleading to have a total 1-star rating after you stated "We were super happy with the regular version" and after your team has been using the Lite version of the app all this time (please, correct me if I'm wrong).
