Google SecOps for Jira Cloud

Deprecation Notice -

The integration previously relied on the Backstory API, which is now deprecated. To ensure long-term support and compatibility, we have migrated the integration to utilize modern Google SecOps v1alpha API for Data polling.

What this means for you:
The new Integration will be released on 15th Jan 2026, users will need to reconfigure the App to ensure continued functionality.

Following are the list of functionalities that are removed from v3.0.0 -

• Jira creation of alert work type.
• Fields removed as a part of this:
  • Configuration Page:
    • Data Polling > Enable Alerts Checkbox, Limit of Alert tickets to create per Invocation Dropdown
    • Detection & alert configuration > Select the severity of alerts to be fetched
  • Enrichment:
    • List Assets Impacted
    • List Assets Aliases
    • List User Aliases
    • Removed fields related to above enrichment: For Input, For Value, Start Date, End Date.

To obtain the service account JSON required for reconfiguration, follow steps mentioned in user guide.
