Configuration | FAQ | Request a Demo
When EasySync detects a change in the value of a field it is configured to "sync" - it automatically copies the value down the levels of the hierarchy that you have configured.
For example, copying the value of the Team field (managed by Plans in Jira Premium) from the Epic level down to individual Stories and subtasks. It sounds so simple, but in practice, it makes a big difference to your reporting and everyday experience of your users.
EasySync was specifically developed to simplify natively provided reporting for complex SAFe implementations, since it allows reporting to be based on information present within every issue, without relying on complex roll up logic, or relying on users to manually input information such as "Team" or "Account" into every single story or subtask.
EasySync gracefully handles cases such as when a new issue is created within an existing hierarchy and when the parent of an issue changes.
