Choose a prize and add late runners
Choose the prize that is most appropriate for your team. Add later runners to the Late Cake. The best practice would be to wait minute or two since the meeting start. We encourage you to create your own rules.
Choose a winner
After the time span has been finished person with the highest number of appearances on the Late Cake become the recognized person or person with imposed the penalty.

What is Late Cake? We help your people to be on time!
- Late Cake is a virtual and online version of "jar of shame" dedicated to people who struggle to join the gathering on time
- It is a gamification tool that will help you influence and motivate latecomers.
- The game is inclusive to all types of roles in your team: Product Owner, Scrum Master or Development Team member; and it fulfills its task successfully for remote and in person working teams.
- It can be applied to all types of the meetings and Agile ceremonies: daily, planning, retrospective, grooming / refinement.

Rules: Late Cake is a very flexible tool. You can set up your own rules, but for beginners, we recommend the following:
- All team members take part in the game
- The organizer of the meeting adds late runners to the Late Cake
- When the cake is full, the person who is most often late buys a cake (or any other prize) for other team members
- The cake is being reset and the game starts over
