Field Extractor for Jira (FEJ) can parse any Rich Text field in Jira including Comments, Description and Environment fields & then update Issues based on predefined rules. Define rules at Project/Issue Type/Field Levels.

You can define extraction rules at Project/ Issue Type and Custom Field level. The source field (User Comments/ Rich Text fields) would be extracted based on these rules. You may Add, Edit, Delete & Clone patterns.
