Glean search activity plugin tries to get a sense of what the users are using in Confluence and enriches the search experience in Glean based on it. It provides the Glean backend with information on visits to pages by users, which is a signal for ranking. It also provides an API to query for permissions for a given space, which is not available natively for Confluence server/DC.
