Baselines freezes Confluence content, so you can show what a document said at a given moment.
- Documents and versions: freezes of the same pages become one document with versions (v1.0, v1.1, v2.0).
- Releases: bundle the versions of a gate or a delivery, with a Draft, Released or Obsolete status.
- Compare: any two versions, or a version with today, down to the words that changed.
- Schedules: weekly, nightly or monthly, and only when something changed.
- Earlier dates: freeze what the pages were at a past moment.
- PDF: export a version, or a whole release as an evidence pack with a cover and a manifest.
- Republish: write a version back to Confluence as a new page. Nothing is overwritten.
- Content types: folders, whiteboards, databases and Smart Links stay in their place.
- Audit trail: a log of who did what, and 30 days to put back what was deleted.
- Permissions by group: View, Create, Compare and Delete.
Baselines stores pointers to page versions in Confluence, not copies of your pages.
