Easy routing for Jira Service Management (JSM) allows to automatically assign the inbound queues to available resources

Enable Auto Assignment global configuration

By enabling Global Auto Assignment, every project will be actively routing the requests based on the projects defined configuration.Disabling Global Auto Assignment will turn off automated routing for all the projects.

Enable project specific Routing configuration

By enabling project specific easy routing, all the newly created , defined request types will be auto assigned based on the configuration.Disabling project specific easy routing will follow the projects default routing.

Agent unavailability

If the agents are on leave/vacation, those dates needs to be updated in the project configuration and accordingly any new tickets that are created during those dates won’t be assigned for that agent.
