Unfortunately, this is not for us. It's Atlassian's fault for the reason I have to wait until my trial is over to uninstall, but there's no way to disable it from the portal?! I have tried everything but there's still a random blue box on the portal that is the first thing everyone sees. Please make it easier to remove!

We are currently working on major upgrade of the app, introducing new UI and new features, so your feedback will be extremely valuable.
Regarding the feature of disabling the app without uninstalling it - upon your request, we have noted and planned it in our nearest sprint (ETA: 2 weeks).
UPDATE: We have released a new version of the app (1.2.12), where the notifications bar is disabled from the customer portal if no projects are added to the app configuration. Hope this update properly corresponds to your request.

With certain clients who have the customer portal open constantly, this plugin has enabled us to allow those clients a very fluid and intuitive way to be timely in responses to issues. We are very satisfied with the functionality of this extension. When we had issues with the extension, we contacted the developer, who responded within the day with a solution! Additionally, we left a few feature suggestions and were informed that the features will be considered in upcoming releases. This shows the developer is very responsible in the management of their extension.

Good app, really. Particularly if you, like us, run a Contact Center, don't want to spend lot of money for the paid users, but still need messaging in the portal. If you (vendor) will expand customization abilities of the UI, this plugin will be just perfect.
