Eelke van der NatWe had some troubles with setting up our Google Workspace connection because there was not much info on how to do this.
Their support team was very friendly and helpful and were able to help us set this up. They have now also created additional documentation to configure this.
They have also updated the system for us regarding the customer ID that you must enter. Previously it was required to enter a 10 digit number. However, we have a 9 digit number which caused us to get an error and not be able to connect. This was no problem for them to adjust this.
Furthermore, the tool is very useful for automatically filling fields in JIRA from Google. This means that customers no longer have to fill in all the fields themselves and we always have the correct information at our disposal.
In addition, there is an option for automatic approvals. Once you have set up the approval flow in JIRA, after creating the ticket, the reporter's manager is automatically checked in Google and added as an approver. For us this was a must have because the information in Google is always up to date due to integration with our HR system.
In short, a handy and nice tool and user-friendly :)
