Create from Template Pro FREE

Great Addon for free! We missed the possibility to easily set the page title when creating a page from a template - this plugin does the job very nice, thanks! Input/Idea: the new 'create from template' form only uses variables defined within the button itself and only for the page title. It would so much cooler if it also included the variables that are defined within the template itself. Example: - I have variables 'client' and 'project' and 'priority' defined within my template (by using the 'new variable' element in the template/blueprint editor). - In the 'Create from Template' button I define to use the variables 'client' and 'project' within the title. - In the resulting form I can type in 'client' and 'project' when I create the page, but it only replaces these variables in the title, not in the resulting page (the variables for the template). The third variable of the template is not present in the form. All stars though because it does nothing wrong and I know that this could be tricky because the template variables have multiple types whereas you variables are text only yet :-).

The standard "Create from Template"-Button-Macro is great but missing essential features like labeling or predefined page title. It was fantastic to see this missing features here. Any plans to implement it for Data Center?

  Unfortunately, at the moment, we do not have any plans for supporting the app on DC as the app was built using Atlassian's new Forge platform, which is available only for cloud.

The Create from Template PRO app from K15t is another excellent add-on to Confluence Cloud. It is simple to use, offers all the needed options to enrich the way how to create a new page in Confluence. It definitely increases your standardization and with this your efficiency. I strongly recommend this app to use in each and every Confluence Cloud environment!
