below.
Setup
Open Salesforce Connection in the app's Jira settings.
Copy the Web Service URL and HMAC Secret Key.
Paste both into Jira Connection Settings in Salesforce.
Confirm the Web Service URL domain is listed in Remote Site
Settings in Salesforce Setup.
Until the key is in place, Jira rejects incoming requests and
shows a banner on the Salesforce Connection page reporting what
was rejected. The banner clears itself once a correctly signed
request arrives.
What goes through this connection: large file uploads to Jira
issues, Jira Service Management request lookups and participant
changes, rich text to Jira format conversion, and issue property
updates when records are linked.
Also in this release: project and field data is now read with the
permissions of the user making the request, and several admin-only
operations now verify Jira admin rights.
