Dashboard Configuration Stability: Resolved an issue where dashboard gadgets could occasionally fail to load due to corrupted configuration data.
What was happening?
When saving complex chart configurations (such as lengthy JQL queries or custom field names with special characters), Jira Data Center's internal storage would sometimes aggressively sanitize the data. This caused escape characters to be stripped out, resulting in malformed JSON and broken gadgets.
The Fix:
The app now securely encodes all dashboard configurations before saving them to your Jira instance. This completely bypasses Jira's internal string sanitization bugs, ensuring your complex configurations are always saved and retrieved flawlessly.
Note on Compatibility:
Full backward compatibility is included. Your existing dashboards will continue to load perfectly and will be seamlessly upgraded to the new robust format the next time you save them.
