Confluence Cloud for Microsoft Teams (Official)

I had the same issue that others have reported, with this app working in the Teams web app but not working in the Teams desktop app. Atlassian support then recommended I try logging out of the Teams desktop app and logging back in (rather than just restarting the desktop app). I had no expectation that it would work but I dutifully gave it a try, as requested by the Atlassian support agent (thanks Tina!) and it actually worked. I'm now up and running, and very content.

To those who struggle with the connection / sign-in: After you click sign in, you need to click sign-in in the top right corner of the dialogue again. Only after then, it is really signed in and connected. The messages are quite confusing. Does not work in the native desktop app. - Creating a new page to embed simply fails with no feedback on what the error could be. - Embedding an existing page just gives a restricted space error. Update: If you only use the web version of Teams at https://teams.microsoft.com/ then it actually does appear to work as advertised.

To get started, I need to review permissions. After I accept and give access, the window reloads and asks me again to give permissions. The app is unusable at this stage.

It's bad. You can't even send a notification to a Teams channel when someone posts or comments on page.
