The Plugins adds basic support for an integration with Gitlab. You can see Branches, Commit and Merge Request of the repositories that are defined at the ticket. You also limit the view and only display the commit, branches, mr that mentioning the Issue-ID in the commit-message or merge-request description or in the name of the branch. Creating branches from within the JIRA issues is also possible. All this works quite well. The good thing is, that there is no need for a site-wide Gitlab user as every developer links it's own account. That's different to other Plugins and might be an advantage for some usecases where you don't want to setup a user that has complete read/write access to all of your repositories. Espacially the support was very fast and provided a good solution for my issues.
