The Custom Links for Confluence app allows you to connect your custom domain for optimal brand recognition and trust.
In order to do so, you will need to make several changes to your DNS service. Please make sure that you understand these changes prior to setting up your custom domain.
The custom domain feature relies on Amazon Web Services CloudFront global CDN network for increased reliability and availability of your custom links. To add additional security & trust, the Amazon Web Service Certificate Manager is used to automatically provision SSL/TLS certificates for your custom domain.
Your custom domain and the TLS/SSL certificate will not be used for any other purpose than to redirect your visitors to your Confluence pages.
Custom links for Confluence respects Confluence space and space restrictions, as visitors will only be redirected to the appropriate URL. If required, visitors will be asked to log in by Confluence.
