Intelligent User Manager (IUM) for Jira

Intelligent User Manager (IUM) is our Atlassian Approved licence optimisation plugin that automates user access management. Most companies purchase licences on a one-per-user basis, but this is a more cost-effective alternative.

IUM provides automated designated-user management using Atlassian's standard group-based access controls. At any given time, only up to the purchased user tier can access Jira, fully aligned to Atlassian's named-user licensing and user-access policies.

This means only real-time users hold application access at any moment. With typically just 20% of your users active simultaneously, IUM ensures licences are always allocated where they're needed most. Access transitions happen with no impact to the typical user experience.

We create two new local user groups: IUM_Enabled & IUM_Disabled to manage application access.

The version of IUM offers a free trial for up to 5 users. To expand beyond this, please submit a request via our service desk for license activation.
