First we love the product and the ease of use. I would rate this at 5 but at around the first of the month, the PDF export in Confluence started resulting in a blank sections where our excel-like table was. In the past, we were able to export the PDF and see the tab that was displayed on the page. Not sure what changed.

Hi Jonathan,
Thank you, both for the kind words about the app and for flagging the export problem so clearly. You’re right that something changed around the start of the month.
Here’s what’s going on: Excel-like Tables render live in the browser, while Confluence builds the PDF on the server, and a recent change to how Confluence Cloud handles that export started leaving the live table out. We’ve reproduced it and we’re on it.
In the meantime there’s a reliable way to get your tables back into the page PDF today, using the app’s Excerpt feature, which exports correctly. Our team has shared step-by-step guidance (and a short walkthrough) in your support ticket, and we’re glad to help map it to your specific reports. The permanent fix is already in progress on our side and lands in an upcoming release.
We really appreciate you sticking with us, and we want to make sure you’re fully back up and running. If anything is unclear, just reply on your ticket and we’ll jump in.
Warm regards,
Alessandro C.

After years of use all tables are now empty and my data is all gone.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for sharing your experience, we understand your concern.
First of all, let us ensure you that the data is not lost. The spreadsheets are preserved as attachments in your Confluence pages:
To create backups, please refer to the following guides:

Upon investigations, our records shows that you’re using the free beta version, which was last updated in Nov 2021 (version 1.0.10). The beta version is provided as-is for evaluation/testing and isn’t covered by the same reliability guarantees as our stable production product. You can read more about beta version and its limitations here: https://docs.ricksoft-inc.com/excel-like-tables-for-confluence/beta-version-support
The issue described appears to be due to depreciated Atlassian API. For a supported, consistent experience and continued functionality, please move to the paid version. If you have less than 10 users, you may still use the paid version for free. Once again, rest assured, your data is safely stored within Atlassian, and updating to the latest version will automatically restore it.

This app provides functionality for embedding Excel files which we lost when migrating from Server to Cloud. Support is excellent as we ran into a problem which the vendor determined was a defect and fixed it in less than 24 hours.
