A dialog provides an ability to select a required status from the current issue's workflow as well as define a resolution to be set or cleared
Action is logged in change history
Workflow status change action is logged as a regular change item in issue change history

With the add-on Jira administrators are able to transit any issue in any project to any workflow status:
- no need to add a dedicated transition to workflow to transit an issue, an add-on just set the requires status
- resolution is proposed automatically depends on the status or could be selected/cleared manually
- action is saved in issue's history as a regular change item
