Manage Absence Automation Actions
You can now automate the creation, update, or deletion of absence entries with powerful Jira Automation actions. The automation action checks for app permissions and provision of all required details and then creates, updates, or deletes the absences smoothly in the background.
Check User Availability Automation
A new automation action allows you to check if a specific user is available on the current day. By providing a user as input, the action returns that user's availability status and the start and end time of the absence if the user is ooo.
Get Absences for User Automation Action
The new "Get Absences for User" automation action lets you retrieve all absences for a specified user. You can add either account id or email of the user directly in the rule UI, and the action outputs structured absence data for use in subsequent automation steps.
