We used to have a multilevel select app in Jira server, however, they no longer support it in Cloud, we had to find replacement. After evaluation, we decided to choose this app. It provides up to 7 levels of the selection, the query looks more generic that after the dot "." you can specify each level and it works well in Jira Expression too. The support is quick and they helped us to import the data for 12k cases on one project, and 8k cases on another project. Highly recommend the app if you are looking for multilevel selection feature in Jira Cloud environment.

The application appears to be quite complex to use and set up. Moreover, I am unclear about the necessity of utilizing a Token if the application functions solely within the instance. Does this application reach out to external sources? Uninstalled

  Thank you for your feedback. This token is needed if only you want to use our custom field on the customer portal. Thanks to this token our app is able to connect with Jira Service Management. It will be removed in next version due to changes in Atlassian Forge platform which allows us to add support for JSM without using this token.

Does not work with Zephyr Scale, when a issue is created through ZephyrScale test execution, the cascading select just shows up as a comments box. If you are using just a simple jira instance guess this will work, for enterprise where you are working with multiple plugins, this plugin comes out as dud.

  Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, we have no influence on how our field is displayed in other addons. From what we know, the screen you mention uses an old screen where new custom fields created on the Atlassian Forge platform don't display correctly. There is nothing we can do about it from our side. We can only report such information to Zephyr so that it adds support for such fields.

So far so good trying this app out. I had a challenge and Christopher was very quick and helpful in assisting me to solve my query :)
