💡 The Format Painter for Confluence allows you to copy all the formatting from one text section and apply it to another.

This is a small but very necessary add-on for text editing.

For example, if you have written text in Confluence, and have it formatted using a specific font type, color, or font size you could copy that formatting to another section of the document by using the Format Painter tool.

👍 Copying and Pasting work for format types:

• color scheme
• font type, size, and color
• font decoration styles
• alignment.

📌 How to Use:

• Click the Format Painter icon on the Confluence toolbar in page view mode to open the macro modal window with page content.
• Select the text that has the formatting you want to copy.
• Click once on the "brush" icon at the top of the modal window.
• Select the text you want to apply the formatting to — the new formatting will be applied automatically!

⚠️ The plugin for Confluence Cloud only works in page view mode. Macros and layouts are not supported.
