This app was instrumental in cleaning up our Confluence instance. We had a need to add a wider audience to our Confluence but the lack of content management made that troublesome. This app assisted us greatly in cleaning up clear text credentials so that we could grant broader access without compromising security.

Soteri helped to drive our initiative to remove all cleartext credentials from Confluence and into an appropriate and secure Secret Manager. I started with a comprehensive scan and after removing the most sensitive data I was able to increase the search radius to include the GENERIC_PASSWORD rule and mark any false flags as needed. The support team is happy to take user feedback into account and actually implemented one of the exporting features we requested when first evaluating the tool - the ability to export a list of reviewed false positives. Overall, this is a great tool at a great price point.
