Easy and intuitive Jira app for quick backlog estimation. A great alternative to planning poker game for any agile team
Estimate effort with your team on a collaborative real-time board using a turn-based Magic Estimation game or a free-form estimation.
Estimate any numeric Jira field, issues of any type and of any project, with colleagues or on your own, using Fixed Lanes or Relative board modes.
The only concept participants need to know to start efficient sprint estimation and planning is how to drag cards on the board and place them based on the relative size.
Magic Estimations is a free app that helps Scrum teams estimate effort of user stories quickly and efficiently, supporting both Story Points and time estimates.

The general concept behind the app is Magic Estimation method (also sometimes referred to as Silent Grouping, Affinity Estimation, Relative Estimation, Swimlanes Sizing). The method's main idea is in sorting user stories through a board based on their relative weight, unlike Planning Poker based solution with a core of voting for estimation values. Stories of similar sizes might be placed on similar lanes.
The app supports fixed lanes mode, where the lanes are defined upfront, or fully relative mode, where the lanes are labeled only at the end.
Magic Estimations app is really simple and self-explanatory. It is super fast compared to alternatives since it's much easier to make a sizing decision for a user story while comparing it to other cards
