Mermaid Charts & Diagrams for Confluence

I complained to the support that ELK was not supported in class diagrams. Less than a day later, with just a refresh of my page, the diagram is now using the ELK renderer I asked for. Support was very efficient !

While it is great add-on, it doesn't work in project pages section. Only directly in confluence. I wasn't able to insert it in the document in project pages mode, with modal window. Is this by design or an issue?

  Thanks a lot for your feedback. Unfortunately, the (modal) project page editing experience has some technical limitations from the Atlassian Cloud side that breaks 3rd party macros. This limitation does not only affect our app, but also apps from other vendors. As soon as Atlassian addresses this limitation, editing and inserting will work. Right now, you have to edit the pages in Confluence. The (modal) view mode is *not* affected, i.e. you can edit/create the pages in Confluence and you view the pages (including the Mermaid diagrams) in Jira's modal view.

  By the way: Do you know that our app is also available for Jira (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1224537/) which allows you to add diagrams to Jira issues?

This is an excellent add-on! We are considering deploying it for a team of 270 users. However, I believe there are a couple of areas that could enhance the user experience: It would be helpful to have an option to resize the editor and diagram sections. Currently, the layout is fixed at 50% for each. I noticed a potential issue when editing a diagram for the first time: the "Pan & Zoom" option automatically unchecks itself after typing something. That said, if I recheck the option and continue typing, it remains active.
