AWS Widgets

AWS Widgets for Confluence turns any page into a live, read-only view of your AWS resources. Add the macro, choose an AWS region and resource type, then select or enter a resource identifier. Current status and important properties appear beside the runbooks, incident notes, architecture decisions, and operational documentation your team already uses.

Built on Atlassian Forge, the app makes AWS requests in backend code and returns a reduced display model to the browser. Stored credentials are not exposed to the macro or its configuration UI. The Forge version supports EC2 instances, S3 buckets, Lambda functions, ECS clusters, and DynamoDB tables.

Typical uses include checking an EC2 instance state, documenting cloud environments, enriching operational playbooks, and giving engineering and support teams a shared view of important AWS resources without copying values into Confluence by hand.
