  • A Jira Cloud site — start a free cloud migration trial if needed
  • JCMA 1.7.1 and older are unsupported

  • Archived issues linked via Epic Link or Sub-task are no longer incorrectly migrated as active when archived issues are excluded from the migration.
  • Users referenced only by custom notification events are now correctly included, preventing import failures in notification schemes.
  • Assets custom fields are now correctly included when exporting scoped project configurations.
  • Deleted and deactivated user handling has been centralised, making scoped and full-site migrations more consistent and reducing duplicate data in exports.
  • Scoped user extraction is significantly faster for large projects with many custom field user references.
  • Migrations on SQL Server instances with mixed column collations now complete successfully.
  • Multi-select field values can now be submitted through the remediation interface to fix affected items after a migration.
  • JCMA now releases resources promptly when restarted, preventing stale background threads from consuming server resources.
