Watch this demo for an overview of data migration using the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant and this demo on how to conduct an app assessment during migration planning.
Important details:
- Set up a Jira Cloud site before migrating. If you haven’t already, start a free cloud migration trial.
- This app requires that your Jira Server or Data Center runs on version 7.6 or above
- Review the server to cloud migration guide for an overview of the migration process.
*Note: JCMA 1.7.1 and older versions are unsupported. Upgrade to the latest JCMA version for optimal performance.
When to use:
- Migrating Jira Software/Core Server sites to new Jira Software/Core Cloud.
- Migrating Jira Server/Data Center projects, users and groups to a Jira Cloud.
- Atlassian Support has recommended using it
