Release Management: Workflows, Calendar & Roadmaps - Cloud

I was awaiting for the cloud version of this App. Really helps us to streamline our frequent Releases.

Last year, we wanted to implement a robust software release management strategy that I had been made aware of. Now, while Jira is in at least my eyes the world's leading solution and a superb management tool, some things like its release management are more bare-bones than it could be (although improved in late 2023). That's where Atlassian's marketplace made up of mostly 3rd party solutions come in, by providing real solutions to enhance and build upon the strong base that Jira provides. After a couple months researching, the tool I initially tried to avoid (YES THIS) due to it looking so complex and overwhelming, ended up being the ideal solution. In the short time since we've implemented our strategy and been using this Release Management's app, we have felt right at home. This is because in large we've had continued dialogue and feedback with them throughout our journey, on top of them taking on our suggestions and improvements to further enhance the solution. I should also point out this app is like no other I've used on the marketplace in the last 10 years of leading teams in the Jira solution. While it is still very much a extensively product ready app it's also what I'd refer to as a WIP, as it's continuously being developed with new and improved functionally. Their support are very responsive and helpful in being able to properly consult you on even the most advanced customised requirements. That doesn't just stop with what you can see in the app either, as it's also mostly accessible via API webhooks, that allows you to do some highly advanced external things with it like using Jira's automations and smart values to do things that will really start to blow your mind apart by the endless possibilities. So, whether you're a tech nerd like me or novice, you'll be able to do near everything you need and very likely more as you grow in confidence.

We use this app to generate release notes across multiple projects. These possibilities are very extensive and exactly what we need. But it can do much more, like planning roadmaps and release dates. I would also like to underline the great support and availability of the app. We had several contacts and received a solution incredibly quickly. Big compliments!
