We are currently in the trial with this app but I want to commend Brad and the Quirk team for their quick responses to questions and any slight issues we have encountered. The have been quick to make any minor fixes and we now have a robust POC to share with our teams to visualize and understand their dependencies. I recommend this app based on our experience and the excellent customer service!

I am a consultant serving in an enterprise agile coach role. As part of a client's agile transformation, we needed a way to track cross team dependencies in Jira. We did a POC with Jira Premium (Advanced Roadmaps) but the dependency functionality did not meet our needs. We found this Dependency Mapper app and it was able to satisfy the majority of our needs. We primarily use the Dependency Board (grouped by epic or by team), the Dependency List view, and the Dependency Matrix in a newly created dashboard that all of our POs, Team Coaches and Product Managers have access to. We use this dashboard to confirm our dependency commitments during PI Planning and then review/update them as part of our ART Sync (mid sprint). We are in the midst of rolling this out to all of our teams and have received very positive reviews so far. The Quirk team has been super supportive during our POC phase and has quickly addressed some show stopper items for us to ensure our POC and final rollout were a success. If you are a company that uses Jira (standard) with agile scrum, kanban, and non-agile teams, I highly suggest looking at this app to help manage your dependencies.

It's a good app, I like the 'dependency network' tab in particular. A good improvement would be to have a tree view though. What I need is an easy way to see the tickets, which are not blocked by an open ticket they depend on.

Our Digital transformation is in full swing. This is the best tool I have found for the purpose of reviewing dependencies. Whether looking at an individual project team's dependencies or looking at dependencies across all teams, the Dependency Mapper for Jira as an easy to use interface and multiple value add ways to look at dependencies. My favorites are the Dependency List, Dependency Matrix, Dependencies over time, and the Backlog Manager. My experience with support has been great. There have been hotfixes and improvements made rapidly to fix things and make improvements in the few weeks I've been working with Dependency Mapper for Jira. I highly recommend giving this tool a try. You will get value right away and I am confident it will continue to be enhanced with the additional feedback being provided. They are truly customer focused and very knowledgeable about what is important for managing Scrum Dependencies at a Project and Department level.
