Alert Catcher - Zabbix SIEM integration with Jira

Alert Catcher is a powerful plugin that bridges your SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems, such as McAfee, Zabbix, and Paessler PRTG, with Jira, enhancing incident management efficiency and automation. It allows you to set up unique endpoints for creating and updating incidents using the alert ID from third-party systems.

Each connection is secured with a dedicated API token, removing the need for Bearer authentication required by Jira’s REST API. Alert Catcher features custom endpoints for incident management, rules-based incident grouping, and advanced restrictions for incident creation and updates.

By integrating Alert Catcher, incidents are automatically added to rule-defined workflows for streamlined processing. Manual incidents can also be incorporated into rule-based actions by adding a connection field and post-function. This setup ensures consistent, automated responses for improved incident handling.
