    Visualise Your Backlog

    Define your data structure

    Export your data

Using a JQL query or one of your existing filters, the Backlog Manager for Jira app will find all parents and descendants of your backlog to create a true representation of the progress of your work.

With the Backlog Manager for Jira app there is no need to introduce new custom fields, processes or other unwanted additions to your system. Just define your existing structure and we'll take care of the rest.

Once you've created your own backlog visualisation, you may want a copy of the data for your own purposes. Export your data to a csv file to give you full transparency and control over your data.

    More details

Quite often in the world of agile, the simplest questions are often the most difficult to answer:

    • "How close are we to releasing?"
    • "How large is this feature, relative to work we've done previously?"
    • "Is the team investing their time in accordance with the priorities we originally laid out?"

We often try to unearth these insights using extracts of data from digital work tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or AgileCraft to name a few. However, it can be difficult to aggregate this information using conventional means. There can also be inconsistencies in the way the tool is used which can skew the results. What if there is poor hygeine or data quality in the system, isn't that something we would also want to see?

How can we quickly move past these limitations, and start having informed conversations around the state of our portfolio?

The Backlog Manager tool can help solve this problem by providing a macro view of your scaled portfolio, and let you take control of your backlog.

Our team has been 'agile' for a while but as the features and requests piled up in the backlog over time it was increasingly difficult to get a full picture of what was going on. Planning and refinement sessions started to drag and we spent more time talking about the work than actually doing it (I'm sure you know the feeling). This tool was easy to instal and provided us with a visual snapshot of our backlog that we'd been missing while using just the built-in features. Thanks

    Pricing FAQ

How does cloud app pricing work?

Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my cloud pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.

The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows:

    • Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 Atlassian product users are billed at a flat rate price.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.

Annual subscriptions may offer a discount depending on the number of users purchased.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for cloud apps?

Academic, community and open source licenses are not available for cloud apps.

Can I extend my free trial?

For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.
