UPDATE: From 1 to 4 Support reached out to me and apologized that my request slipped thru the cracks. There were great and setting up a call for us to review. Seems as if the problem is on the Atlassian side. The filter content had too many issuekeys for the board to recognize the project and thus the project role settings. By creating a filter for the filter, e.g. project = x and filter = "enhanced search filter", the board recognized the project, it's security roles and worked like a charm. Thanks for the team for getting me that far! I had such high hopes for this plug in. It says you can use this for board filters. It does work to some extent but is slow. My needs are very basic and I thought this could work, but doesn't. Also, depsite being a board and project admin for a managed project, the product owners lost all ability to edit and manage sprints with the filter applied. Changing the filter back to it's original state restored service. Also, Support is glacial.
