Background: we have been made aware by a user of our app that Confluence automatically adds a view permission (if missing) in case an edit permission is added. This behavior can be critical in case you have view limitations on descendants of an edit permission inheritance. During the inheritance process the app adds edit permissions but Confluence also adds a view permission (if missing) for that user or group what is not intended in most use cases.
